The Gypsy is still alive and well

Yes, I know I haven't posted on this blog in several years. Many things have pointed me in the direction of dusting off the cobwebs on this blog and beginning to share my journey again. Lots of good things have happened in my life in the last several years and a few that have given me pause to learn the lessons being given and move on.

I do have a plan to help bridge the blog gap from 2013, the last time I posted, to 2019 but that will happen over several weeks and in some order that makes sense to me at least.

On to what is happening now, I became a Licensed Unity Teacher (LUT) for Unity Worldwide Ministries a few years ago and continue teaching classes at my local Unity church and still teach three Google classes when I go to Logan, Utah.

My most recent class is one of the new Unity classes called Self Care. I decided to teach this over eight weeks because it has eight modules. The last class in this series is next week. It has been a lively class with great discussions and lots of room for looking at your own self care practices. This is the first Unity class for which I created a web page to help myself and the participants keep up with all the reading and video assignments. Of course, I am using Google's new and improved web site tools and have found them to be most useful for this purpose. In case you want to look around, the site the link is:

      https://sites.google.com/view/self-care-course/home

Check it out. There are some great resources shared by me and the participants. You might learn something that will help you shore up your own self care practices.

Also, I know that many of the conversations I am having in my life with friends and fellow travelers are opening up new dimensions in my life and in theirs. I thought these could best be shared and added to by others by waking this blog up once again to the light of day.

One of my friends and I are doing a lot of walking and exercise together and we may even start a Spirit Group at church next year called Walking and Talking. She has mentioned a book called We Make the Road by Walking by Myles Horton and Paulo Freire. I have not read the book but I know that several of us are making new roads together. We are not sure what the destination is but we know stuff is happening...good stuff.

One of the things we have noticed is that we are making the unconscious, conscious. This definitely gives you options or choices that you might not have had before. We are also on a writer's retreat in Rockport,TX for a few days.  We got here early yesterday to see the sun rise over the bay. Here is one of the great pictures taken of me.

So let us make the road together by walking and talking.

Abundant blessings...
